Research Methodology
This State of Analytics Report examines the current state of enterprise analytics and highlights the challenges organizations are facing. It reveals where organizations are in their analytics journey and explains areas critical for analytics success: organizational commitment and resources; platforms, tools, and architecture; and governance. Additionally, it provides considerations and best practices for moving forward in analytics.
For this study, TDWI incorporated results from several surveys and assessments that were run throughout the year. Data from this report comes from the 2022/2023 TDWI Data and Analytics survey and the TDWI Analytics Maturity Model Assessment. Data from the 2023 Analytics Maturity Model includes input from the 122 respondents from various industries and company sizes who have participated in the assessment to date.
